VP - Business Alliance Development and Services - Lyman Lundquist

Lyman Lundquist, VP – Business Alliance Development and Services, lives and works in Austin, TX. After completing his education, Lyman joined IBM’s Systems Division for System/360, System/370, System/390 design, development and test. Lyman moved into the field in a  direct regional role of IBM’s largest mainframe systems customers, and worldwide support across all industry segments for IBM's largest mainframe products. In 1988, he joined the IBM AIX / RS6000 / POWER software development team in Austin, TX. He lead the development and deployment of the IBM Migration Factory for competitive winbacks to IBM, developed a set of technical solutions combining IBM and select partner technologies, and established a relationship with a network of global strategic business partners. Lyman retired from IBM in 2009 and continued as a business development consultant until joining Tivoli Associates.

Operations Manager – Jackie Branch

Jackie Branch is the Operations Manager for Tivoli Associates. She has been with the company since 2006 and oversees the day to day administrative side of the company from Order Processing, Accounts Receivables & Accounts Payables as well as Customer Support. She has found that working in the IT Field for over 13 years that every day is a learning experience that she embraces with a positive attitude.

Chief Developer – Jan Mortensen

Jan Mortensen is the President and Co-Owner of JamoDat, a Danish company and the corporate owner of the Intellectual Property and rights to TSMManager Software.   Jan was born in 1955, is married with two children and lives in Denmark.  After completing his education he worked for the Danish Air Force for 6 years as a technician.  After his tour with the Danish Air Force, Jan joined the IBM Corporation in Denmark as a hardware technican on mainframe technologies.  Jan evolved into system programming and system administration and worked for IBM as an AIX Consultant.  Jan later become an IBM Subject Matter Expert on Tivoli Storage Manager and for the next eight years he provided his expertise to customers.  Jan retired from IBM after 25 years and began working on the development of TSMManager to fill a gap where IBM Tivoli Storage Manager was lacking and provide a simple to use interface to monitor, manage and report on TSM.  Jan became the Chief Developer of TSMManager in 2003 and has been a valuable resource and part of our infrastructure.

Founder – Ross Battaglia (retired)


Ross Battaglia is the retired founder of Tivoli Associates, Inc. He is an IBM Subject Matter Expert on Storage, Tivoli Storage Manager, and Disaster Recovery. He is a Certified IBM Instructor and has an extensive background developing Storage and Performance software for IBM.  Ross was one of the original developers for storage and backup software for IBM including DF/DSM, and WDSF the original TSM software, and is under an open contract to IBM to provide development, Support and Tivoli Services.  He has written 9 IBM Redbooks on Tivoli Storage Manager including the Concepts Guide SG24-4877 and the Implementation Guide SG24-5416. He creates the IBM Certification exams for IBM Storage, Tivoli Storage Manager, IBM Tivoli Storage Resource Manager, IBM Total Storage Software and IBM Storage hardware.  Ross personally holds 38 Technical certifications and is considered one of the leading experts on TSM..
